A sumptuous new place for photographic exhibitions (and eventually lectures and workshops) is opening in L.A. this weekend, the Annenberg Space for Photography.The Annenberg Space for Photography is an entirely new cultural destination dedicated to exhibiting both digital and print photography in an intimate environment. The space features state-of-the-art, high-definition digital technology as well as traditional prints by some of the world's most renowned photographers and a selection of emerging photographic talents as well.It's 10,000 square feet of photographic goodness. It's at 2000 Avenue of the Stars in Century City - on the former site of the Shubert Theatre. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 11am-6pm, closed Monday and Tuesday. The first exhibit is L8S ANG3LES, in which 11 prominent photographers give multidimensional looks at the city.
